From Display to Interaction: On-site Moments at the Canton Fair

Welping participated in the 139th Canton Fair with a range of pipe welding machines and tools, including butt fusion machines, roll grooving machines, electrofusion units, and pipe fittings. The booth focused on practical product display and on-site interaction, where visitors engaged in discussions about operation, application, and real working conditions.

From April 15 to 19, the 139th Canton Fair was held in Guangzhou. Welping participated with two booths, presenting a range of pipe welding equipment and related tools.
Rather than a simple product display, the booth became a place for continuous on-site interaction.
Booth and Product Setup
At the exhibition, both welding machines and pipe tools were presented. Visitors could see different types of equipment, including butt fusion machines, roll grooving machines, electrofusion welding machines, and pipe cutting machines. Supporting tools such as PE pipe scrapers were also displayed.

In addition to machines, the booth included thermofusion and electrofusion fittings, PPR fittings, and pipe supports. The layout followed a practical arrangement, allowing visitors to understand how different products are used together in real applications.
On-site Interaction
Throughout the exhibition, there was a steady flow of visitors at the booth. Some equipment naturally attracted more attention, where people would stop and take a closer look at the structure or operation.

Most discussions focused on practical aspects — how the machines are operated, whether they are suitable for on-site work, and how different tools are used together. These questions were closely related to real working conditions, making the communication more specific and direct.

In some cases, simple demonstrations were carried out. Seeing the process in action often made it easier for visitors to understand how the equipment works, compared to explanation alone.

Some visitors, after understanding the operation, would further ask about specific models and application ranges.

Observations from the Exhibition
From the conversations over these days, it was clear that visitors were more interested in how the equipment performs in real use, rather than just specifications.

Questions about ease of operation, stability, and adaptability to different working conditions came up frequently. These discussions made the exchange more meaningful and closer to actual field applications.
Conclusion
For us, the exhibition is not only about presenting products, but also about understanding real needs through direct communication.
