CM-20 Pipe Cutting Machine Factory Test: Cold Cutting for 8"–20" Steel Pipes
Cutting large steel pipes is not only about cutting through the pipe. Stability during operation, a clean cutting edge, and easy handling on site are just as important.
We recently filmed a factory cutting test of the CM-20 pipe cutting machine. In the video, the CM-20 cuts steel pipe in a real workshop setting, showing how the machine performs during actual operation.
CM-20 Factory Cutting Test Video
The CM-20 is suitable for 8"–20" steel and galvanized pipes. It is commonly used for workshop fabrication, pipe prefabrication, and job site pipe cutting. For large-diameter and long pipes, stable support during cutting is especially important.
Cold Cutting, No Flame or Sparks
The CM-20 uses a cold cutting process, with no open flame and no sparks during operation. Compared with flame cutting, it is safer for many job site conditions and helps reduce extra finishing work caused by heat cutting.
After cutting, the pipe end is clean and smooth, making it suitable for applications where cutting quality matters.
Standard Upgraded Blade
The CM-20 comes with an upgraded blade for steel and galvanized pipes, with a maximum cutting wall thickness of 13 mm.
A durable blade helps keep the cutting process smooth and supports more consistent results during repeated use.
Separate Hydraulic System
The CM-20 uses a separate hydraulic pump and cylinder design. The sealed pump structure helps prevent dust from entering the hydraulic system and reduces the chance of oil contamination.
This design helps reduce oil change frequency, extend pump service life, and support long-term use in workshops and job sites.
Easy to Move on Site
The CM-20 is equipped with transport wheels and a handle, making it easier to move around the workshop or job site. When working with long pipes or changing work positions, this makes setup and adjustment more convenient.
Summary
The CM-20 pipe cutting machine is designed for cold cutting 8"–20" steel and galvanized pipes. It offers no-flame, no-spark cutting, a clean cutting edge, up to 13 mm wall thickness capacity, a separate hydraulic system, and easy mobility.
The factory test video gives a direct look at how the CM-20 performs in real cutting conditions. For large steel pipe cutting work, it is a practical and reliable pipe cutting machine.
