This article records an AG-4X grooving test on a large-diameter steel pipe with an uneven end. Despite visible movement during rotation, the machine completed a continuous groove, showing how pipe condition, alignment and feed control affect groove quality.

Gruvmaster continues to improve its pipe cutting machines through blade testing, hydraulic system upgrades and long-term customer feedback. The current blade system includes one standard blade for carbon steel and stainless steel pipes, plus a dedicated blade for ductile iron. A separate, fully sealed hydraulic pump structure further improves sealing reliability, reduces contamination and lowers maintenance requirements.

A new batch of Gruvmaster HC-2X pipe hole cutting machines has completed assembly and practical factory testing. Designed for branch connection work in fire protection, HVAC and industrial piping systems, the HC-2X combines secure chain clamping, low-speed high-torque cutting, guided mechanical feed and flexible operation from either side. The result is a more stable and controlled way to prepare steel pipes for mechanical tees and other branch fittings.
